Here is the perfect geopolitics example, played by China which suits this tag line.
China is growing it's influence of friendship over the South East Asian (ASEAN) countries.

From 9 May to 28 May China have done one of the good Military Exercise with it's neighbour country Lous.
More than 200 troops from China have participated in this exercise and from both the side aprox 900 troops have been participated.
Also China have shared various technology and equipment such as 4×4 MRAP Dongfeng CSK141, as well as equipment for maritime Replenishment, mine clearance, explosive disposal and epidermic prevention.

Before this, in this year 2023 China had also participated in exercise called 'GOLDEN DRAGON' drill with Cambodia in late March to April.

Also China is also developing it's friendship with other neighbour Brunei.
In August 2022 when XI went to Brunei he said Brunei's businesses are welcome to expand exports to China, Xi also said, adding that China stands ready to strengthen cooperation with Brunei in infrastructure construction, agriculture, fishery, energy and other areas, and share the experience in developing digital economy, e-commerce and other emerging sectors.

Also China is recovering it's friendship towards Vietnam which was really bad at some time in past.
But why, China is doing this, what is it's selfish reason.

We know that China is greatly interested in Taiwan and if we look in past, China several times have threatened Taiwan about it's attack on them.
by looking China's plan to have control over Taiwan US have already deployed it's troops in Philippines , Indonesia, Vietnam and Thailand
