In 1915 Gandhiji came from Africa with his policy of non violence and Satyagraha. He got settled in Gujarat and opened ashram and started his work by using non violence and truth as supreme policy. Actually this policy was just to impress Muslims and Muslim league.
After the death of Tilak in 1920 Gandhiji gripped his leg in Congress and become most popular leader representing Congress.
Prime goal of Gandhiji was to be supreme leader of India including Hindu and Muslims
Many Congress leaders like Dadabhai Naoroji, GK Gokhale, and many more where as capable as Gandhiji but after passing some time this people slowly become invisible and new face of India came that is Gandhiji.
To achieve his prime goal Gandhiji new that integration of Hindu and Muslim is most important.
Gandhiji had just one way of gaining Muslims interest that was by completing their every demand. To achieve his goal he started to complete every demand of Muslims and also started khilafat movement in 1919 for them.
But in return Muslims where never interested in Uniting themselves with Hindu they were just focusing on their personal needs and also these Muslim peoples were criticizing Hindu by revoluting against Hindus by violence and raping Hindu women and many more.
Later Gandhiji got known to reality of Hindu-Muslim unity and his khilafat movement got failed.
After the failure of khilafat movement anger of Muslim towards Hindu increased. But still Gandhiji was in hope of Hindu and Muslim unity and of becoming leader of both the community.
In 1924 Muslim attack Arya samaj, even at that time Gandhiji stood quiet, didn't spoke anything against Muslim, but at each and every time in his political career and freedom struggle every time he criticized extremist, every time he spoke against of revolutionaries, why was this so?

At extremist side new face came up that was Subhash Chandra Bose. Subhash Chandra Bose become as popular as Gandhiji and his strategy of fighting for freedom was unique among all.
But at other side Gandhiji was hating him and his way of participating in freedom struggle.
Gandhiji thought that "his success will be my failure".
Subhash Chandra Bose was one of the top leader in Congress but Gandhiji was considering him as danger for his career.
Before the partition of country Gandhiji many times met Jinnah and many times tried to convinced him to stay unite with India but at each and every time Jinnah rejected his demand.
Somewhere Gandhiji knew that Jinnah was not gonna accept his demand so he accepted every his demand and the main demand of Jinnah was the formation of new country that is Pakistan.
Hindu people were left for dying many Hindu people got killed women's got raped many people become refugee, some lost their homes, their work, their local culture and country remained in violence for 1 to 2 year

Gandhiji In his speech also sometimes spoke and give instructions to Hindu to remain friendly with Muslims.
Even his spoke if Muslim tried to kill Hindus, Hindus with positivity have to accept the death. Hindus should not remain sad if they got killed. Birth and death is a natural process and it is the God who will decide when to born and when to die.
But was it really correct, how do Hindu will leave their life, pride their bravery and why will they surrender their life just for Muslims profit.
After independence the survey done and in that survey. Britishers itself have told that contribution of Gandhiji and his movement in gaining India's freedom was so minimal actually it was extremist who who really contributed towards freedom.
Unfortunately our Indian text books just gives information regarding Gandhiji and his movement but never elaborate the work done by revolutionaries.
We hardly know the names of people those were originally and who sacrifice their life for freedom.
